¿Cómo hemos logrado cancelar 109,000 dólares de nuestras deudas en 17 meses?
Cuando digo eso hasta que se me pone la piel de gallina, es increíble el avance que hemos logrado…y hoy quiero contarte cómo hemos sido capaz de hacerlo.
Por esto decidí crear un episodio de mi podcast donde te cuento paso a paso las 7 acciones que hemos hecho para lograr salir de deudas:
#1. Nos pusimos de acuerdo.
Es muy importante y hará toda la diferencia el que, si te estás casada o casado, ambos se pongan en sintonía con las mismas metas de vida, esto incluye las metas financieras de ambos.
#2. Saber cuál era nuestra situación actual.
El sentarte a realmente ver cuál es tu situación, es super importante, dicen que el que no conoce su historia está condenado a repetirla.
#3. Pusimos en marcha nuestro plan de pago de deudas, utilizando el método bola de nieve.

#6. Teniendo presente en todo momento nuestro por qué.
Una de los primeros ejercicios que les pido a mis coachees realizar es que analicen y escriban su porqué ¿Por qué quieren hacer esto? ¿Qué lo motiva? ¿Cuál es el resultado que quieres lograr?
#7. Tomamos decisiones financieras basadas en nuestra realidad.
Una de las decisiones financieras más importantes que tomamos en el 2020, fue vender nuestros autos. Pasamos de un BMW serie 318 2016 y un HONDA CRV 2019 a un Toyota Corolla RENTADO.
Entre todo lo que conlleva mudarse a otro país (Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Dubái) y no tener las finanzas organizadas de la mejor manera, no ayudaron a que tomáramos la mejor opción en ese momento.
Entre ambos autos estábamos pagando unos $1,200 dólares al mes entre mensualidades y seguros. A pesar de que teníamos ingresos sustanciales cuando tomamos los préstamos, a la hora de organizar nuestras finanzas supimos que esos $1,200 dólares al mes pesaban mucho en nuestro presupuesto, y que nos atrasaría un año y medio más de lograr nuestras metas.
Cuando iniciamos el plan de pago de deudas, decidimos incluirlos a ambos dentro de la bola de nieve (método que uso y enseño para salir de deudas), entre ambos autos la deuda ascendía a $62k dólares ¡Una locura! ¡$62k dólares! atados en cosas que perdían valor cada día.

Una de las preguntas que más me hacen en este momento es: ¿Cuánto tiempo tarda salir de deudas? Bueno, depende, depende de tu capacidad de pago, que tanta deuda tienes, y tu disposición, disciplina y voluntad.
Hay personas que pagan sus deudas de consumo en 6 meses, hay otras que, en 12, en 18 en 24 y otras en 48 meses…
A nosotros nos terminará tomando unos 22 meses, pagar $130,000 usd.
