Este es el último blog de una serie de 3 Blogs que hemos estado estudiando durante 3 semanas, te recuerdo que el objetivo era que pudieses entender el marco de referencia para que tu negocio, sobreviva financieramente, sea sostenible y florezca.
Hoy estaremos aprendiendo acerca de: 3 tips para establecer un ritmo financiero y confianza en tu negocio.
Una de las cosas que he visto que pasa con los emprendedores es que evaluar y mirar la parte financiera del negocio, conocer tus números y asegurarte de que estás proyectando hacia dónde te diriges, es algo que raramente se siente como una urgencia y ciertamente no es algo conveniente para ti, y como resultado, sientes que hay otras cosas que necesitan de tu atención inmediata, y esto siempre termina siendo postergado y dejado a un lado.
Por esto quise tomar el tiempo de decirte cual debería ser el ritmo o hábito que debes poner en práctica para que no sigas retrasando esta tarea tan importante para tu negocio.
No estés esperando a que sea conveniente para ti, para tomar las riendas y hacerlo, esto es algo que tienes que hacer; diariamente, semanalmente, o mensualmente.
Cualquiera que sea la frecuencia o ritmo en la que lo hagas, tienes que hacerlo porque ¡Hay que hacerlo! Si es que quieres tener un negocio próspero y con posibilidades de crecimiento.
Tip #1. Establecer una sesión semanal para revisar tus números.
Empieza por establecer un ritmo semanal para revisar tus números. Esta misma semana si es algo que no lo has hecho, saca tu agenda y bloquea 30-45 minutos para revisar tus números. Ya sea lo primero que hagas en la mañana, o lo último que hagas en la tarde. En lo personal me encanta hacerlo en la mañana, y lo hago diariamente.
No esperes hacerlo cuando tengas ganas de hacerlo, porque déjame decirte algo, si para empezar esta no es tu zona de confort, uff, vas a seguir postergándolo y evitándolo, las semanas, se tornarán en meses, los meses en cuartos, y los cuartos en semestres, y cuando menos te des cuenta, como resultado, tendrás que dedicarle mucho más tiempo y trabajo; lo cual, lo hace más tedioso, menos agradable, y muy riesgoso para el negocio.

Tip #2. Haz el cierre de mes en el tiempo oportuno.
Reúnete en un tiempo oportuno con tus socios para revisar el rendimiento al cierre de mes. Tal vez en tu caso sea tu cónyuge, o líderes de equipo, coach financiero, gerente de finanzas, o inclusive si el negocio solo es llevado por ti mismo, es importante que hagas un informe de cómo fueron los resultados al cierre del mes. Tomando en cuenta datos como:
- Facturación de Ventas.
- Total de gastos (costos fijos + costos variables).
- Ganancias.
- Cualquier otro que consideres necesario en tu negocio…
He visto emprendedores, que, en marzo, están haciendo informes de cómo cerraron en enero, ¡No puede ser!
Es recomendable hacer esto a tiempo, dentro los primeros días del mes siguiente, por ejemplo, si estás cerrando enero, los primeros 5 días de febrero ya debes tener listo el informe de cierre de mes de enero, esto te ayuda a trabajar con un presupuesto bien definido para el mes siguiente, en vez de trabajar reaccionando a lo que el negocio hizo hace dos meses atrás.
Queremos tener números relevantes, confiables, y actualizados para poder trabajar con presupuestos más realistas.
- Para aprovechar oportunidades de negocio que se presenten.
- Evaluar gastos por venir.
- Y para realmente tomar decisiones para el futuro con fundamento.
Si eres de esas personas que se despierta en la mañana y esta, es una de las cosas que están muy pero muy lejos de tu interés y que no te emociona del todo, ¡Te admiro y en cierto nivel estaré orando por ti! Porque es sencillamente algo que no termino de comprender.
Tienes que saber que, el hecho que no sientas ganas de hacer algo, tienes que recordar que es una disciplina. Como ir hacer ejercicios, cepillarse los dientes, comer sanamente, se hace más fácil a medida que lo hacemos más seguido.
Y el hecho de que sea difícil, es un indicador que te dice que esto es algo que tienes que hacer como dueño/líder de negocio.
Espero que ya estés emocionado por ver tus números, y que bloqueaste tiempo en tu calendario para revisarlos una vez por semana como mínimo.
